JALLIKATT-Tradition Vs Sininng

Jallikatt is supposedly sports time for bulls. Play time for these voiceless workers of the soil. This day the bulls are to be honoured, let loose to use up their pent up energy and embrace them lovingly(pets, after all) offer them favourite food and plenty of water.

What we have to today is to feast on the meat of the bull and on the sale proceeds from the slaughter houses. An absolutely inhuman ghastly way of making the hapless bulls behave seemingly  aggressive. How would the supporters react if their eyes and anals are smeared with chillies and peppers?
When others pull not so gently at whatever that can be pulled? The bulls are also intoxicated to make them appear aggressive.

 Sadhguru's video.
Strangely, no religion supports violence to this degree. It's a pity, that some people resort to such horrible acts under the guise of religion, tradition and culture.
Hinduism believes in the Omnipresence of the Divine. Christ taught us to "do unto others what you want others to do unto you" Others here can be man and animal.
