GauMata-The Bhartiya Cow

Mythology has it that the cow was a gift to humans during the churning of the ocean. The country was the richest  as long as we worshipped Her. Every household had a cow. People seldom fell sick. Doctors were redundant. Unlike now, girls hesitated marrying doctors because of their occupation. A cow in every house, added to purity in the atmosphere,  more oxygen in the air,  positive energy all around. We Hindus never needed the services of a medical practitioner. We led a life of prevention being better than cure.

It was only after advent of  chemicals in medicines that mortality was on the rise. As  long as, Bhartiya Cow is treated with respect, care and love, we will always lead fulfilled life, in terms of health,  prosperity  and goodness.

The Indian cow yields more milk in her lifetime compared to her foreign counterparts. They are natural bovines but man-made ones created with man's selfish interest of meat and milk products.

Indian cow has a divine aura about her. Her footsteps convey her feelings to Mother Earth. Scriptures vouch that Gomayaa Vasate Lakshmi ( Goddess of wealth, Mother Lakshmi Resides in cow dung. When used as manure, it improves the quality of soil. Before invasion, our country was the richest and don't we see the connection between our attitude towards the cow and financial state of the country?
