Where is God? Ways of becoming divine.

                                           Where is God?
To all in Turkey and beyond
Who is this God you talk about?
Who`s in name in death you always shout,
It’s not the God that we all know,
The one that loves us ever so,
Shootings and killings, where does it say,
That this will be the only way,
You WILL NOT WIN, you know that right?
For peace and love will win the fight,
To all in Turkey and around the world,
Extend your arms and let them curl,
Around those today who`s pain is clear,
And help them wipe away their tears

People build and go to various places of worship. If we observe them, few do seem Godly. While others, continue to be devilish as they are outside the place of worship. Doesnt serve any purpose. The whole purpose of places of worship is to (re)kindle respect for humanity. Afterall, that's a Divine Gift. Damaging places of worship to hurt the sentiments of followers is a stupid way showing your disrespect to the deity/religion one follows. When we disfigure the deities or any other object of worship, what is our motive behind the act? Ignorance about one's own religion, earning a bad name for the religion and creating unnecessary enemies.

Where does God live, exactly? There is a story in spiritual circles-Once a highly acclaimed God-man/saint often pestered by people for wish fulfillment. He was  guided to reside within the same people. He could do so, being meditatively and spiritually advanced. The seekers searched high and low for the Saint. He couldnt be found. Only those seekers, who looked within found Him. The rest of us, continue our search EXTERNAL to our physical bodies.

We are all aware that God is everywhere, yet we look outside of us, but within. If we keenly observe and analyse, whenever, an act which is divine in the sense, forgiving, helping etc. Any act which reminds us of God, He-the Omnipresent One has shown His Invisible Presence.

All we need to do is:
1. Give up desires
2. Give up attachment. Be loving to all.
3. Never lose temper
4. Never be egotistic leading to jealousy, envy or any feeling that takes us farther from Divinity.
5.Simple in thought, profound in speech and simple and admirable in deed.
6.Forgiving all the time, for every wrong done against.
7. Epitome of patience and tolerance
