REAL TREASURE

                                                 Real Treasure

We humans have got it all wrong! Our misconception about treasure is tangible property. The kind that can be seen, capable of being stolen, guarded, possessed(rightly or otherwise).
Everybody, the worldover is only bothered about working for money. It has become a dilemma-Whether we work for money or is money supposed to work for us?

In Marathi devotional movie. "Zhaalaa Mahaar Pandharinaath", there is a song by the famous lyricist. G.D.Madgulkar, transliterates as God cannot be found in any worship centre, nor any temple. Who has ever earned so much of virtue to covet Divinity". "देव  देवाह्यरात नाही , देव नाही देवालयी , देव चोरून नेईल , अशी  कोणाची पुण्याई...."
Perhaps, lately this is what is called "intellectual property". It is unique to the individual who is behind creating the idea. The similarity between the temporary treasure and real treasure ends. Real treasure is reflected in the personalty. It is unique. Cant be separated from the person, life after life. They descend amongst us to uplift those who are ready for the ascent, to being a greater human being, almost God-like. Whenever, we come across such great souls, they almost can be deceptive by their appearance, lack of interest in worldly matters, desires of any kind-nil. History is laden with instances of such sols, who lived for others. That  is the real treasure. The qualities of great souls like, Sai Baba, Sri Ramkrishna Paramhamsa, Swami Vivekananda, Moses, Jesus Christ, Sri Ramana Maharshi and many more. Religions and rituals   are all left behind. What accompanies our soul is, how good a human being, we have been.
Dont we treasure memories? It is usually the good qualities of person, not material possessions.
The real treasure can be summed up as the one which is
1)eternal, 2)unique, 3)cannot be stolen
Eternal:-accompanies the soul life after life. Cannot be separated from the soul   Unique:-Every being is unique. Patience, control over anger, forgiveness, ability
to apply sharpness of intellect, business acumen, being just and equal with       everyone, irrespective of financial status or any other category. Treating all beings as a Gift of God. Isnt that a unique treasure? Can two persons have same                intensity of this treasure?
Cannot be stolen:-Uniqueness of the treasure indicates, it cannot be taken away. It is an inherent quality that defines the person. Makes the person a great soul or otherwise.
